Since then, she has starred in over 20 Hindi films, launched a cosmetics brand called Star Struck, and become one of the most searched Indian-origin celebrities online.
Explore My WorkI'm Sunny — welcome to my corner of the web.
I entered the world on May 13, 1981, in Sarnia, a small city in Ontario, Canada. My parents were Punjabi Sikh immigrants who'd settled there years before I was born. Growing up, I spoke English at school and Punjabi at home, and that blend of cultures shaped how I see things even now.
My career started far from Bollywood. In my early twenties, I began working in adult film in the United States, signing with Vivid Entertainment in 2005. That chapter lasted over a decade, and I've never distanced myself from it — those years taught me resilience, discipline, and how to handle a camera like few people learn to.
Everything shifted in 2011 when I entered the Bigg Boss house in India. I walked in not knowing what to expect and walked out with a Bollywood contract. Jism 2 released in 2012 and opened a door I'd been knocking on for years. Since then, I've acted in films like Ragini MMS 2, Ek Paheli Leela, and Tera Intezaar, hosted reality shows, and performed in music videos that have racked up hundreds of millions of views.
Away from the screen, I'm a mother of three — Nisha, Asher, and Noah — and I run Star Struck, a cosmetics line I launched to make quality beauty products accessible. My husband Daniel Weber and I split our time between Mumbai and Los Angeles. Life is full, and I'm still hungry for what's next.
If you've followed my journey, thank you. If you're just discovering me, stick around — there's a lot to catch up on.
